Kawaii (かわいい) means cute in Japanese. It can be used to describe cute and adorable things. But nowadays, this can be considered a lifestyle.
Last June 17, Kawaii PH launched their very first book: The Kawaii PH Book 1: Beyond the Cutest Dreams. It was held at SM Megamall so I decided to drop by since I was on a leave.
For every purchase of the book, you will be given 2 passes which entitles you to participate in their activities. The book costs Php 150.00 during that day which can be bought at the entrance.
Beside the entrance was a shop that sold cute items from Whimsicute, Dolly Kaye, and many more. I was planning not to buy anything aside from the book, but yeah, I lost. They're so cute!
In front of the venue were some of the artworks created by the Kawaii PH team. How can these people be adorable and creative at the same time?
Yay for Sailor Moon!
There was also a big Chuck Taylor shoe on display where you can write your message for the Kawaii PH team. Notice how most of them are in Japanese characters? Yeah, that makes me envious. Even my sister wrote in kanji!
There were activities like designing your own Converse and making your own button pin( which I was not able to take a picture of because there's a lot of people).
We were not able to watch the program (which was around 6 PM) because it was too late for us(transportation and all). Still, we get to enjoy the event as this is a very new experience for us. And for the loot? We have brought a shirt, magazine, and pins from the booth.
And of course, the star of the event, The Kawaii PH book!
This book will be available at their Kawaii PH Store for Php200.00 + shipping .
Kudos to the Kawaii PH team for this kawaii-filled event! Looking forward to their future events!
