Finally! Had another chance to blog again :) So yeah, today, we went to another Belle de Jour event.
Aside for the launching of the newest Campus BDJ planner, it was also a crafts night where we get to make our own plushie dolls.
As we were queueing for the registration area, the newly released Campus BDJ was displayed beside us. It's cover this year is super cute! I love how it looks like it was spilled with water colors creatively.
And as promised, first 50 participants who registered will get a gift from Bedroom Athletics.
So cute, right? They also have these in ugg-like boots and doll shoes designs. And they're for bedroom use! They're also super comfty. They haven't given a loot bag this time but I think it's ok since the bedroom slippers they gave ranges from Php 2000 - 3000. So generous.
The host for the night is none other than Miss Karen Bordador. She has been hosting BDJ events for some quite time now.
Partnered with this event is Miss Beam Mariano of Artwine. She showcased and introduced their products for a while then taught us the basics of making plush monsters.
These are the kit we are given. They are priced at Php 120 each but for the event, they gave it for Php 100. Kit includes sewing needle, thread, cut-out plush monster, several felt cloths, and the stuffing or polyfiber.
My friend, Janah, has always been an art enthusiast. She's the one who invited me in this event. And her plushie is uber cute!
Snacks are served by Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and J.Co while we were working with our plushie dolls.
Here's the draft of our monsters. I own the pink one so yeah, sorry about that. Hahaha.
We weren't able to finish since there's a limited time. We actually haven't noticed since we were enjoying. Two hours is not enough for us to do this activity since it's so fun to do. Might as well create my very own one too. :)
